18 BBC parkrun documentary with Kelly Holmes
The Detail TV is making a documentary about the benefits of running for mental health for the BBC (national TV). We are making this with Olympic gold medallist Kelly Holmes who recently published a book on this very subject and the climax of the film will be the very first parkrun to be held in Strabane on 15th June.
We are looking for people who would be willing to take part and be mentored by Kelly as they prepare to take part in the parkrun on the 15th.
Ideally they will be from Strabane or nearby (as the hope is they might want to continue doing the parkrun after the filming) and there will be three key dates they would need to be available on.
These are:
-
19th May: To meet Kelly and talk about their mental health
-
TBC but either 6th/ 7th/8th/9th June: To catch up with Kelly again who will help prepare them ahead of the parkrun
-
15th June: The Strabane parkrun
Ideally we would have 4/5 people willing to take part but we might not film with all of them.
