10 Developing Healthy Communities - Strategic Plan 2019-2022 Stakeholder Consultation
Developing Healthy Communities (DHC) has recently changed its name and legal status from ‘The Derry Healthy Cities Project’ to reflect the changing nature and geographical reach of our organisation.
It is as crucial as ever that we continue to champion inclusive attitudes to health and build capacity in our communities to challenge persistent rates of health inequalities.
Therefore, we are now entering a new phase for the organisation which will begin with the launch of our new strategic plan in 2019. This will set the direction for the work of our organisation over the next 3 years and beyond.
2019 will also include DHC leading Derry and Strabane’s renewed designation to Phase VII of the World Health Organisation’s European Healthy Cities Network.
The input and support of our partners and stakeholders is crucial to setting the direction for our organisation over the coming years. We would greatly appreciate your time in completing a short survey which consists of 3 questions by Friday 15th March.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RVYJSFD
There will also be the opportunity for further consultation on the first draft of the strategy. If you would like to feedback on our draft plan, or for a more detailed discussion about the future of our organisation, please do not hesitate to contact me at erin@dhcni.com

19 BBC Documentary - The Search
Did you live through the conflict in Northern Ireland
Was there somebody who helped you, or someone special you lost touch with, during this difficult time?
Did you lose touch with friends or neighbours because of The Troubles?
Did you or your family have to evacuate or relocate to escape violence?
Did someone help you or your family during this challenging time and you'd like to thank them?
The Search is a new documentary for the BBC, focusing on the personal stories of ordinary people who were caught up in major historic events - and their quest to reunite with someone special.
Each episode is themed around a human experience or event in modern history - for example being caught up in a natural disaster, riot, strike, war, wave of migration or terror attack. We follow individuals as they look for a long-lost friend, family member or significant stranger who had a lasting impact on them. The aim of our programme is to highlight moments of human kindness, resilience and reconciliation in some of modern history's most challenging times.
To find our more about the documentary or to apply, please get in touch:
Email: thesearch@blinkfilmsuk.com or call: 0203 150 2724
We look forward to hearing from you.
