Community Engagement Event with the NI Human Rights Commission

The Network invites interested parties from across the North West to participate in:

A Community Engagement Event with the NI Human Rights Commission

Thursday 29 Sep 2016, 2pm

Joe McQuaide Room

Holywell DiverseCity Community Partnership

10-14 Bishop Street

Derry~Londonderry BT48 6PW

In attendance will be the Chief Commissioner, Les Allamby, and a number of his Commissioner colleagues as well as senior staff officers within the Commission.  This event represents the latest collaborative effort between the Network and NIHRC in recent years and local community groups are encouraged to make the most of the opportunity to engage with key influencers.

All are welcome especially those with a particular interest in the Commission's key areas of business for the current year which are:

  • Homelessness
  • Mental health
  • Self-harm and suicide
  • Building tolerance in communities/dealing with the past
  • Social need and tax justice.

It also seems inevitable that wider Human Rights concerns around potential BREXIT impacts will naturally occur in the discussion.

If you wish to attend on 29 Sep, please confirm via: / 02871279090

Places are limited.
